A big week ahead for the NDP
The coming week is a big one for the Mylor NDP. Mylor Parish Councillors have now reviewed the full Plan and all the supporting documents, in preparation for it to be submitted to Cornwall Council and the examiner. The NDP Steering Group has made requested amendments to fine-tune it, and everything should be ready for the final sign-off.
MPC has two meetings this week: 1) On Monday 26 April 2021, the last scheduled meeting of this Parish Council’s term before the local elections, and 2) An Extraordinary General Meeting on 29 April 2021 to discuss the proposal that the draft NDP should now be submitted to Cornwall Council. Both meetings will be on Zoom, and the public are welcome to attend.
The 29 April EGM will a great moment for the Parish if the NDP is approved to go forward, so please show your support. This is the culmination of over three years’ consultation with parishioners and a great deal of work by the many volunteers who have helped with research, surveys, meetings, events, exhibitions, and drafting the Plan. The result is entirely based on the community’s expressed wishes for the future of their Parish.
Please come along and show your support for ‘Our future, our plan’. The agenda with Zoom link for 26 April and the EGM on 29 April can be found on the Mylor Parish Council homepage: http://www.parish-council.com/mylor/
