Cornwall Council declares YES result for the Mylor Parish NDP
The votes are in and Cornwall Council has announced a 91% majority in favour of the Mylor Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan being adopted. This is great news for the Parish, after more than four years consultation with the community. It means the Plan now becomes part of Planning Law, and Cornwall Council will refer to it as a reflection of local peoples’ preferences and priorities for the future of our Parish area.
657 people voted in favour of the Plan being adopted and 62 against. You can see full details here, as published by Cornwall Council: Declaration of result of poll – Mylor NPR
Mylor Parish now joins the 60 other parishes in Cornwall who already have their own NDPs. A huge thank you to everyone who voted and to everyone who has helped make the NDP by taking part in events, surveys, consultations and helping with supporting research since 2017.
