NDP Steering Group welcomes new Chair and co-opted members
The Mylor NDP Steering Group yesterday (13 January) voted for a new Chair following the resignation of Cllr David Lansdowne. Jane Moss now takes up the role, having been joint lead of the NDP communications team since autumn 2017.
Jane said ‘I’m very pleased to be taking on this role as we get down to work with the Parish Council and its consultant Stuart Todd. Most of us who volunteered to help with the NDP back in 2017 are still here, as well as many of the Parish Councillors who voted for the NDP to be created. We have been on a long journey together and now the finishing post is in sight. I look forward to working with the Parish Council as we help them make their final decisions. That work is starting now and there will be regular updates as we make progress together.’
The Steering Group also voted for two co-options, enabling volunteers who had previously resigned to rejoin: Michael Brougham as Project Manager, and Pat Farrell as environment lead. Jane and colleagues gave them a warm welcome. Their expertise is invaluable now as we work on the detail needed to assist the Parish Council with completing the Plan.
Draft minutes of the meeting will be available shortly.
