Results of the mass survey are available now
Today, Friday 4 May 2018, we publish the results of the mass survey. You can read them here, in a PDF document that summarises the findings. It may take a moment to load but you can read it on screen or print your own copy.
Thank you to everyone who returned the survey. We received 817 responses from all parts of the parish. 199 people completed the survey online, having signed up in advance to receive a link by email. Including postal copies to every household and online copies to 459 people, we sent out a total of 1,931. We can say with some certainty that 1,872 were received, so that gives us a very strong return of between 42% and 45%. That means we have clear information about the community’s opinions and wishes on which to base our next steps in developing the plan.
If you would like to know more, we will be at Mylor May Fair with the Parish Council stand on 12 May, and there will be a public Question Time-style meeting in Flushing on 22 May – more information about time and venue to follow.
Over the summer and autumn there will be more opportunities to get involved, with workshops, focus groups and discussions to help form the policies that go into the plan. We will provide updates as soon as we have more information.
